WARSAW Nov 25 (Reuters) - Poland's economic growth is likely to top 2 percent next year, a member of the central bank's Monetary Policy Council (MPC) said on Wednesday.

"I'm not expecting a significant acceleration of growth in 2010. Economic growth will be above 2 percent," Dariusz Filar told Reuters in an interview shortly after the MPC decided to keep the bank's main interest rate unchanged, as expected.

Filar said inflation could rise above 3.5 percent between November and January and start easing significantly in February 2010.
