Polish CPI to ease in 2010 after brief rise-cbank

WARSAW | Wed Nov 25, 2009 10:03am EST

WARSAW Nov 25 (Reuters) - Polish inflation may rise temporarily in the near-term but should ease significantly in 2010, the central bank said in a statement on Wednesday.

In the medium term policymakers said the probability of inflation being below or above the central bank's 2.5 percent target was similar.

The statement also said the improving global outlook as well as Poland's past interest rate cuts should help the country's potential economic growth ahead.
