LYON, France Nov 26 (Reuters) - The level of the euro against other currencies is hurting European exporters, French Economy Minister Christine Lagarde said on Thursday.

"The euro where it is today is creating difficulties for European exporters," she said at a news conference at an industrial conference in Lyon.

French officials have been at the forefront of European complaints about the strong euro.
