Lenovo sees op margins above 10 pct for mobiles
TAIPEI |
TAIPEI Nov 27 (Reuters) - Lenovo (0992.HK), the world's No. 4 PC maker, expects operating margins for its mobile Internet devices to be higher than 10 percent, after saying it would reacquire the cellphone business it sold last year.
"When the market becomes a little more mature, the number (10 percent) will be a little bit on the low side," Lenovo's Chief Financial Officer Wong Wai Ming told reporters.
Earlier, Lenovo had said it would pay $200 million to buy back Lenovo Mobile, as the lines blur between mobile phones and personal computers.
