Seoul shares hit lowest in more than 3 months
SEOUL |
SEOUL Nov 27 (Reuters) - Seoul shares extended losses to over 3.6 percent on Friday, hitting their lowest intraday level in more than three months, as deepening concerns about Dubai's debt problems rocked financial and construction issues.
Shares in KB Financial (105560.KS) tumbled 6.9 percent, and Samsung Engineering (028050.KS) lost 8 percent.
The Korea Composite Stock Price Index .KS11 (KOSPI) was down 3.52 percent at 1,543.15 points as of 0502 GMT, after hitting as low as 1,540.84 points, its lowest intraday level since August 18.
