Space shuttle returns to Earth after ISS mission

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. Nov 27 (Reuters) - The U.S. space shuttle Atlantis landed in Florida on Friday, ending an 11-day mission to deliver spare parts to the International Space Station.

Atlantis glided safely onto the runway at the Kennedy Space Center, returning to Earth its six-man crew along with space station flight engineer Nicole Stott, who spent three months aboard the orbiting research outpost.
