Taiwan says banks have $197 mln in exposure to Dubai

TAIPEI Nov 27 (Reuters) - Taiwan's banks posted a combined T$6.35 billion ($197 million) in their exposure to Dubai World's loan, the financial regulators said on Friday.

"The regulators will minitor financial institutions' such exposure closely," the Financial Supervisory Commission said in a statement. "We will continue to watch the latest developments of Dubai World and take necessary measures."
