Iran's nuclear plans a sign of isloation -W.House

WASHINGTON Nov 29 (Reuters) - Iran's announcement of plans to build 10 new uranium enrichment plants would be a serious violation of its international obligations and further evidence of Tehran's isolation, the White House said on Sunday.

"If true, this would be yet another serious violation of Iran's clear obligations under multiple U.N. Security Council resolutions and another example of Iran choosing to isolate itself," White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said in a statement.

"Time is running out for Iran to address the international community's growing concerns about its nuclear program."

Iran announced plans earlier on Sunday to build the new uranium enrichment plants in a major expansion of its nuclear program, a clear show of defiance after the U.N. nuclear watchdog rebuked Tehran over such work.
