PITTSBURGH (Reuters) - Injured Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will not start and is unlikely to play against the Baltimore Ravens in Sunday's key AFC North game, the Steelers announced Saturday.

Dennis Dixon, a second-year pro who has thrown just one NFL pass, will get the start, the Steelers said on their website (www.steelers.com). Tyler Palko will back up Dixon with Roethlisberger the No. 3 quarterback. He would not be eligible to play against the Ravens unless both Dixon and Palko were hurt.

Roethlisberger was injured when he took a blow to the head in last week's overtime loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
