NEW YORK (Reuters) - Buffalo Sabres forward Pat Kaleta has been suspended for two games without pay for an incident in Friday's game against the Philadelphia Flyers, the NHL team said Saturday.

Kaleta was assessed a five-minute penalty and a game misconduct for boarding Philadelphia Jared Ross in the first period, the Sabres said on their website (www.sabres.nhl.com)

He missed the Sabres' game against the Carolina Hurricanes Saturday and will not play against the Toronto Maple Leafs Monday.
