India's Bharti Airtel rises 6 pct; telecoms up

MUMBAI Nov 30 (Reuters) - Shares in India's top mobile operator Bharti Airtel (BRTI.BO) rose as much as 6.1 percent on Monday afternoon, outpacing gains in rivals Reliance Communications (RLCM.BO) and Idea Cellular (IDEA.BO) and the broader market.

At 1:47 p.m. (0817 GMT), Bharti was up 5.6 percent at 299.60 rupees while Reliance Communications and Idea climbed 3.7 and 4.2 percent respectively.
