TOKYO Nov 30 (Reuters) - Japanese National Strategy Minister Naoto Kan said Monday the planned extra budget for the fiscal year ending next March will exceed 2.7 trillion yen, Kyodo news reported.

Kan, who is also deputy prime minister, previously said that the extra budget should be compiled by reallocating the 2.7 trillion yen in spending that the new government has frozen in a budget compiled by the previous government.

But he told reporters the amount would be bigger as the government compiles steps to deal with the yen's appreciation and stock price falls, Kyodo said.
