Nikkei climbs nearly 1 pct, exporters gain

TOKYO Nov 30 (Reuters) - Japan's Nikkei average climbed 0.9 percent on Monday as exporters such as Honda Motor Co (7267.T) gained after the yen retreated from a 14-year high against the dollar marked last week.

The benchmark Nikkei .N225 rose 80.66 points to 9,162.18 after falling within a hair's breadth of the July low of 9,050 during Friday trade. The broader Topix .TOPX gained 1.2 percent to 820.85.
