Seoul shares extend gains, up more than 2.5 pct

SEOUL Nov 30 (Reuters) - Seoul shares extended gains to over 2.5 percent on Monday as banking and construction issues rallied, with easing Dubai fears boosting sentiment towards sectors that had tumbled in the previous session.

Banking shares .KS49 were up 4.14 percent and construction stocks .KS44 rose 3.27 percent.

The Korea Composite Stock Price Index .KS11 (KOSPI) was up 2.52 percent at 1,562.93 points as of 0126 GMT.
