US STOCKS SNAPSHOT-Wall St ends up as banks lead late rebound

NEW YORK Nov 30 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks rose on Monday, led by financial shares in a late rebound on hopes that possible fallout for U.S. banks from Dubai's debt woes will be contained.
The Dow Jones industrial average posted its fifth-straight month of gains, while both the Dow and the S&P 500 had their largest monthly percentage advances since July.
On Monday, the Dow Jones industrial average .DJI gained 34.92 points, or 0.34 percent, to close unofficially at 10,344.84. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index .SPX rose 4.14 points, or 0.38 percent, to finish unofficially at 1,095.63. The Nasdaq Composite Index .IXIC added 6.16 points, or 0.29 percent, to close unofficially at 2,144.60.
