Australia's Westpac raises rates by 45 basis points

SYDNEY Dec 1 (Reuters) - Westpac Banking Corp (WBC.AX), Australia's third-largest lender, raised its variable mortgage rate by 45 basis points on Tuesday after Australia's central bank raised the benchmark rate by 25 basis points.
