ORLANDO, Fla. Dec 1 (Reuters) - Tiger Woods will be cited for careless driving after a police investigation of a minor car accident in which the world's number one golfer was injured, the Florida Highway Patrol said on Tuesday.
But he would not face criminal charges.
Woods ran his Cadillac Escalade into a fire hydrant and a tree while leaving the driveway of his home in Windermere, Florida on Friday. ((jim.loney@thomsonreuters.com; +1 305 810 2688; Reuters Messaging: jim.loney.reuters.com@reuters.net))
