US STOCKS SNAPSHOT-Wall Street higher after data

NEW YORK Dec 1 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks rose on Tuesday after a report indicated continued growth in the manufacturing sector last month, while pending home sales increased more than expected in October.
* The Dow Jones industrial average .DJI gained 91.97 points, or 0.89 percent, at 10,436.81. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index .SPX added 9.62 points, or 0.88 percent, at 1,105.25. The Nasdaq Composite Index .IXIC climbed 22.39 points, or 1.04 percent, at 2,166.99.
