NEW YORK Dec 1 (Reuters) - Valero Energy Corp (VLO.N) said Tuesday it restarted over the weekend the third of three coker modules that underwent maintenance at its 325,000 barrel-per-day refinery in Port Arthur, Texas.

The 105,000 bpd coker, which was shut around mid-November to have cracks in the unit's drums repaired, was now increasing to planned rates but not there yet, said spokesman Bill Day.

"We have returned the third module over the weekend. All three modules are now operational. The coker is not at planned rates yet, but increasing to planned rates," Day told Reuters.

There was no specific timetable for reaching those rates, he added.

Day also said all main production units have been shut at Valero's 210,000 bpd refinery in Delaware City, Delaware, though some minor units were still being brought down.

The company began shutting that refinery down in the second half of last month because of week economic conditions.
