United Technologies gets $1.7 bln US Air Force deal

WASHINGTON Dec 1 (Reuters) - United Technologies Corp (UTX.N) has been awarded a $1.7 billion U.S. Air Force contract for engines for Boeing Co (BA.N) C-17 military transport aircraft, the Pentagon said Tuesday.
