Regis Philbin's hip surgery a success
LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Regis Philbin's hip replacement surgery was successful, a representative of the morning talk show "Live With Regis and Kelly" said Tuesday.
"Regis anticipates returning to 'Live With Regis and Kelly' soon after the first of the year, given the procedure's typical four- to six-week recovery time," the rep said.
Philbin announced his surgery last week during a taping of "Live" in Las Vegas.
