Dominion Va. Surry 2 reactor exits refuel

NEW YORK Dec 1 (Reuters) - Dominion Resources Inc's (D.N) 799-megawatt Unit 2 at the Surry nuclear power station in Virginia exited a refueling outage and ramped up to 30 percent power by early Tuesday, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission said in a report.
The unit shut by Nov. 2.
The unit last shut from about April 27 to May 21, 2008. It is on an 18-month refueling cycle.
The Surry station is located in Gravel Neck in Surry County about 45 miles (72 km) northwest of Norfolk, Virginia.
