Indian shares provisionally close down 0.3 pct

MUMBAI Dec 2 (Reuters) - Indian shares provisionally dropped 0.3 percent on Wednesday as resistance emerged after they rose 3.4 percent over two sessions.

The 30-share BSE index .BSESN provisionally ended down 0.29 percent, or 49.05 points, at 17,149.22, with two-thirds of its components losing.

The 50-share NSE index .NSEI provisionally closed down 0.1 percent at 5,118.70.
