UPDATE 1-Porvair sees FY results in line with view
* Says near-term order book encouraging
* To exceed cash generation expectations (Adds details)
Dec 2 (Reuters) - Filtration specialist Porvair Plc (PORV.L) forecast full-year results in line with expectations, helped by an acquisition, and said its near-term order book was "encouraging."
The company also forecast it would exceed its cash generation expectations for the year ended Nov. 30.
Porvair's Microfiltration division, which serves the aviation, energy, clean water and industrial markets, continued to trade as expected, the company said.
Seal Analytical, its 2008 acquisition, had a good first full-year in the company as its profits improved.
Before the impact of the Seal acquisition, like-for-like sales for the Microfiltration division were expected to be around 10 percent lower than the prior year, it said.
Shares of the company, which operates in the UK, the United States and Germany, closed at 51 pence on Tuesday on the London Stock Exchange.
