HSBC PRIVATE BANK
The bank named chief investment officer, head of investment & product group for the Americas Nancie Dupier the new CEO, HSBC Private Bank, Singapore effective Feb. 1, 2010.
UNICREDIT (CRDI.MI)
UniCredit will announce a successor to Dario Frigerio, outgoing head of Pioneer Investments, in the next few days, a company source said, confirming the bank's commitment to its asset management unit. [ID:nGEE5B20K1]
CLIFFORD CHANCE
The law firm said it has re-elected David Childs as the firm's global managing partner for a second term running until May 2014.
BARCLAYS CAPITAL (BARC.L)
Barclays Capital announced the appointment of Adam Taetle as a managing director and co-head of the global consumer group within the bank's investment banking division.
CADWALADER, WICKERSHAM & TAFT LLP
The law firm said that Joseph Bial and Scott Greenberg had been promoted to special counsel, effective Jan. 1, 2010.
BANK OF AMERICA MERRILL LYNCH GLOBAL RESEARCH
The bank's global research arm named Priya Misra as head of U.S. Rates Strategy Research. In this role, Misra will be responsible for the strategy and development of the group's U.S. rates research product and recommendations.
MFS INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT
The Boston-based asset management company promoted Michael Roberge to president of the company. Roberge, who will keep his position as chief investment officer of U.S. investments, will take up the position on Jan. 1 and assumes the title from MFS CEO Robert Manning.
MAYER BROWN
The law firm named Michael E. Lackey, Jr. to serve on the firm's partnership board, one of the firm's two governing bodies.
AlixPartners
The global business advisory firm announced that Brett Brandenberg and Matthew Rogers have joined as directors in its Washington, DC office in the financial advisory services practice.
