SEOUL Dec 11 (Reuters) - North Korea said on Friday talks with U.S. President Barack Obama's envoy this week had led to narrowing of differences between the two countries and it shared the view on the need to resume stalled nuclear disarmament talks.

The discussions held by U.S. envoy Stephen Bosworth in Pyongyang were "frank and businesslike" and deepened understanding of each other's position, the official KCNA news agency quoted a foreign ministry spokesman as saying. (Reporting by Jack Kim, editing by Jonathan Thatcher)
