TABLE-Reuters/U Mich Dec. prelim sentiment index 73.4
Dec 11 (Reuters) - Reuters/University of Michigan Surveys of Consumers' preliminary December consumer sentiment index rose to 73.4 from November's final reading of 67.4, according to a report released on Friday.
Economists in a Reuters survey expected a preliminary December reading of 68.5.
