European stock futures signal strong gains

PARIS Dec 14 (Reuters) - European stock index futures pointed to strong gains in ealry trade on Monday, as concerns over Dubai's debt woes eased after it received $10 billion in financing from Abu Dhabi.

By 0702 GMT, futures for the DJ Euro Stoxx STXEc1, for Germany's DAX FDXc1 and for France's CAC FCEc1 were up 1.3-1.5 percent.

Dubai said on Monday fellow United Arab Emirates member Abu Dhabi has stepped in to help it with a $10 billion injection, of which $4.1 billion has been allocated to troubled state-owned Dubai World to pay immediate obligations. [ID:nGEE5AO2FN]
