CORRECTED - Banco Santander Chile sells $300 mln debt

NEW YORK Dec 17 (Reuters) - Banco Santander (SAN.MC) Chile, the country's largest lender, sold $300 million of 3-year senior unsecured notes in a 2012 debt reopening, IFR reported on Thursday.

Santander Chile sold the notes at a yield or 2.657 percent, or 138 basis points over comparable Treasuries, said IFR, a Thomson Reuters service.

The bank sold $500 million of the three-year bonds on Nov. 9 at a yield of 2.926 percent. The total existing amount on the issue is now $800 million.

The sole bookrunner on the sale was Deutsche Bank. (Reporting by Camille Drummond; Editing by Theodore d'Afflisio)
