China Eastern to invest $52 mln in Hefei airport

SHANGHAI Dec 22 (Reuters) - China Eastern Airlines (600115.SS) (0670.HK) has agreed to invest up to 352 million yuan ($52 million) into the construction of the Hefei international airport in China's eastern province of Anhui, the firm said in a statement on Tuesday.

China Eastern and the Anhui Airport Authority signed a cooperation agreement in the construction of various sections of the new Hefei international airport, including the air freight area and inflight meals preparation area. ($1=6.83 Yuan) (Reporting by Melanie Lee; Editing by Ken Wills)
