Seoul shares open lower on banks, Hyundai Motor

SEOUL Dec 21 (Reuters) - Seoul shares opened slightly lower on Monday with losses in banks including KB Financial (105560.KS) weighing on markets, while Hyundai Motor (005380.KS) slipped after news of its China joint venture agreement on Sunday.

The Korea Composite Stock Price Index .KS11 (KOSPI) was down 0.16 percent at 1,644.45 points as of 0004 GMT.
