Fiat to invest 8 bln euros in Italy in 2010/11-source

ROME Dec 22 (Reuters) - Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne told government and unions on Tuesday that Fiat plans 8 billion euros of investments in Italy between 2010 and 2011, according to a source who was present at the meeting.

Marchionne added that he expected the demand for cars to remain stable next year, the source said.
