Seoul shares open higher;tech exporters fuel gains

SEOUL Dec 23 (Reuters) - Seoul shares opened higher on Wednesday after gains overnight on Wall Street, lifted by technology exporters including LG Electronics (066570.KS), but rises were limited amid thin volume.

The Korea Composite Stock Price Index .KS11 (KOSPI) was up 0.35 percent at 1,661.38 points as of 0004 GMT.
