Europe Factors-Stocks seen up in shortened session

 PARIS, Dec 24 (Reuters) - The few European stock markets to
open on Thursday are set to rise, tracking a rally in Asia and
extending a recent rally.
 Financial spreadbetters expect Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE
to open 17 to 20 points higher and France's CAC-40 .FCHI to
open up 14 to 19 points.
 On Thursday, markets are closed in many European countries,
including Germany, Italy, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Norway,
Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.
 Euronext markets will close at 1300 GMT, while London
markets will close at 1230 GMT.
