TOKYO Dec 24 (Reuters) - Japan's Nikkei average hit its highest in three months on Thursday, lifted by high-tech exporters such as TDK Corp (6762.T) on a weaker yen and after better-than-expected earnings from U.S. peers buoyed Wall Street.

The Nikkei .N225 opened up 0.3 percent at 10,413.37, its highest point since Sept. 24.

The broader Topix .TOPX added 0.5 percent to 907.83. (Reporting by Aiko Hayashi)
