WASHINGTON Dec 27 (Reuters) - No device was found on or with the unruly passenger detained by U.S. law enforcment officials after landing on Northwest Airlines (DAL.N) flight 253 from Amsterdam to Detroit, CNN reported on Sunday.

CNN, citing a law enforcement source, said the detained passenger did not appear to be a threat.

The passenger was detained on the same flight that a man two days ago was taken into custody after lighting an incendiary device.

The U.S. Transportation Security Administration said the plane was being held at a remote location at Detroit Metropolitan Airport for more screening after being met by law enforcement officials upon landing safely.
