Seoul shares open lower, weighed by banks, telcos

SEOUL Dec 29 (Reuters) - Seoul shares opened lower on Tuesday following a four-session gaining streak, with losses in banks and telecommunications issues including KB Financial Group (105560.KS) and SK Telecom (017670.KS) weighing on markets.

The Korea Composite Stock Price Index .KS11 (KOSPI) was down 0.69 percent at 1,673.95 points as of 0005 GMT.
