Nasdaq halts PHLX due to smoke on trading floor

NEW YORK Dec 29 (Reuters) - Trading on the Philadelphia Stock Exchange was halted on Tuesday because of smoke on the trading floor, said the Nasdaq OMX (NDAQ.O), which owns the exchange.

Trading was halted at 11:05 a.m. (1605 GMT)
