Eight Americans killed in explosion in Afghanistan

KABUL (Reuters) - Eight Americans were killed in an explosion in Khost province, in southeastern Afghanistan on Wednesday, a U.S. official said.

"We can confirm that there was an explosion in Khost province and eight Americans have been killed," a U.S. official said. He could not give any further details.
