SANTIAGO Jan 11 (Reuters) - Chile's flagship airline LAN LAN.SN (LFL.N) said on Monday its passenger traffic rose 10.7 percent in 2009 from a year earlier, despite a crippling financial global crisis that hurt the travel industry.
Passenger traffic rose 10.6 percent in December from the same month in 2008. In November, passenger traffic climbed 13.3 percent from a year earlier.
International passenger traffic rose 12.8 percent in December compared to the same month the previous year and was up 6.9 percent in full-year 2009.
