German Econ Min eyes solar support cuts of 16 pct

BERLIN Jan 19 (Reuters) - German Economy Minister Rainer Bruederle said on Tuesday he was considering reducing aid for solar firms by 16 to 17 percent.

The government is working on plans to speed up cuts in solar feed-in tariffs (FIT) beyond the annual 10 percent drop that took effect on Jan. 1. (Reporting by Peter Dinkloh)
