Euro, Bund futures fall after German ZEW

LONDON Jan 19 (Reuters) - The euro fell broadly and Bund futures edged lower on Tuesday after a survey of German economic sentiment came in lower than expected.

The ZEW Institute's economic sentiment index fell to 47.2 in January from 50.4 in December, lower than expectations for a reading of 49.5. [ID:nDEP003284] The euro fell to $1.4321 EUR=, its lowest since early January, from around $1.4354 before the data. The single currency also hit multi-month lows against the yen EURJPY=R and pound EURGBP=D4.

March Bund futures FGBLH0 extended losses to a session low of 122.39, 33 ticks lower on the day. Two-year yields EU2YT=RR were almost 5 basis points higher at 1.206 percent, with 10-year yields EU10YT=RR 4 basis points higher at 3.288 percent. (Reporting by London markets team)
