HOUSTON Jan 20 (Reuters) - Hovensa LLC said on Wednesday it had shut the 150,000 barrel per day (bpd) gasoline-producing fluidic catalytic cracker at its 500,000 bpd Kingshill, Virgin Islands, refinery for a planned overhaul.

The FCC work is expected to last until early March, said Hovensa spokesman Alex Moorhead in a statement.

Hovensa is a 50-50 joint venture between Hess Corp (HES.N) and Venezuela's state-owned oil company PDVSA. (Reporting by Erwin Seba; Editing by Marguerita Choy)
