Russia's retail Dixy Group 2009 rouble revenue up 12 pct

MOSCOW Jan 21 (Reuters) - Russia's retail Dixy Group said on Thursday that its 2009 revenue rose 12 percent in rouble terms to 54.21 billion roubles.

In dollar terms, the company's revenue was down 12 percent year-on-year, at $1.71 billion.

Retail revenue from Dixy stores came to 45.12 billion roubles, the company said in a statement.

The company opened a total of 69 stores last year, down from 111 openings in 2008, but bringing their total number to 537 units.
