TOKYO Jan 25 (Reuters) - Toyota Motor Corp (7203.T) will offer to repair about 2 million cars in Europe to fix potentially faulty accelerator pedals that had led to a massive recall in the United States last week, Japan's Yomiuri daily reported.

Recall and safety regulations differ by country, but Toyota has decided to repair for free all cars with the potential problem in Europe, the newspaper said in its evening edition on Monday.

A Toyota spokeswoman said the company was still in the process of considering a recall in Europe, and that no decision had been made, repeating its stance from last week. [ID:nN2196901] (Reporting by Chang-Ran Kim)
