Toyota sees 2010 sales up 6% at 8.27 mln vehicles

TOKYO Jan 26 (Reuters) - Toyota Motor Corp (7203.T) said it expected its group-wide sales to grow 6 percent to 8.27 million vehicles in 2010, likely giving it a comfortable lead over Volkswagen AG (VOWG.DE) and General Motors Co [GM.UL] as the world's biggest automaker.

Excluding units Daihatsu Motor Co (7262.T) and Hino Motors Ltd (7205.T), Toyota expects to sell 7.4 million vehicles worldwide, up 6 percent, it said in a statement on Tuesday. (Reporting by Chang-Ran Kim)
