NEW YORK (Reuters) - Indianapolis Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney missed his third practice in as many days with an ankle injury, the team said on Friday with just over a week to go before the Super Bowl.

Freeney, one of seven Indianapolis Colts elected to this weekend's Pro Bowl, injured his right ankle during his team's 30-17 win over the New York Jets in the AFC Championship game last weekend.

Indianapolis will play the New Orleans Saints in the Super Bowl, the NFL's championship game, on February 7 in Miami.

The NFL released an official injury report late on Friday listing Freeney as questionable for next week's game.
