PT Berlian Laju sells $100 mln in conv bonds

SINGAPORE, Feb 3 (Reuters) Indonesian shipping firm PT Berlian Laju Tanker (PTBL.SI) said on Wednesday it has sold $100 million worth of five-year convertible bonds in a private placement at a conversion price of 737 rupiah ($0.788).

The bonds, which would have a yield to maturity of 12 percent and are due 2015, were placed by JPMorgan (JPM.N) and RS Platou Markets A.S., the company said in a statement.
