Iran seen boosting gas supplies to Turkey -minister

ANKARA Feb 3 (Reuters) - Iran is expected to boost gas sales to Turkey from current levels of between $1.5-2.0 billion a year, Turkish State Minister Cevdet Yilmaz said after meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki on Wednesday.
Iran supplies Turkey through a pipeline that carries an average volume of 18-25 million cubic metres of gas a day. The two countries have said previously they intend to boost cooperation in the energy sector. (Reporting by Hatice Aydogdu; Editing by Simon Cameron-Moore)
