TREASURIES-US 30-year bond up a point in flight to quality

NEW YORK Feb 4 (Reuters) - The price of the U.S. government's 30-year bond US30YT=RR rose a point on Thursday, as investors sought a safe haven amid falling stocks and worries over potential debt defaults by some countries.

The 30-year bond rose 1-1/32 in price to yield 4.58 percent, down from 4.64 percent late on Wednesday. (Editing by James Dalgleish)
